Ok so my question relates to the point at which it is better to have applied earlier and sacraficed that higher MCAT score. I am obviously not expecting anyone to answer all the following questions, just to use them to gain a perspective on my question.
Is it better to have your app in by July 5 and score a 29 MCAT or have it in by Aug 5 and score a 30 MCAT?
Is it better to have your app in by July 5 and score a 30 MCAT or have it in by Aug 5 and score a 31 MCAT?
Is it better to have your app in by July 5 and score a 31 MCAT or have it in by Aug 5 and score a 32 MCAT?
Is it better to have your app in by July 5 and score a 32 MCAT or have it in by Aug 5 and score a 33 MCAT?
Is it better to have your app in by July 5 and score a 33 MCAT or have it in by Aug 5 and score a 34 MCAT?
...etc you guys get the point.
BASICALLY: AT WHAT POINT DO YOU DRAW THE LINE BETWEEN EARLY AND LATE? THUS SACRIFICING YOUR MCAT SCORES.
(if you need specifics of my statistics, I have a 3.88 GPA from a tier 2 university, and not great EC's (one sem research, less than 150 hours combined shadowing/ volunteering time, but a good leadership experience)
