Hello everyone,

I understand that most dental schools accepts DAT scores up to 2-3 years old, is that to the time of applying or entering the school?

Also, I am in my second year of college right now and I will be done with my gen chem, o-chem, english, and one year of bio after this year. Will it be a wise thing to take the DAT next summer (summer after my sophmore year) since physics and advance biology won't be on the test? When do people usually take the DAT? I would appreciate any comments. Thanks.

sounds like u r taking bio, gen chem, o chem all of those 3 sceince courses this year. I want to say take dat as soon as u finish them. and then if u have more time, or disappointed with ur score, take it one more time before u apply.

I am sophomore, too. I took general chem last year. I am taking Bio this year, and i will take organic chem in my 3rd year. so i am planning to take DAT about May of my 3rd year(right before i finish my organic chem), then take one more time on august of that year. by the way i will apply about June of my 3rd year.
