Hey everyone!

So I'm taking the DAT june 11 and I'm basically done with content for bio and orgo. I'm gonna go over gen chem more until I feel more comfortable.

Should I start doing destroyer questions now or wait til a month from test date? I was thinking of doing that so the questions will stay fresh in my head, and just focus on content and maybe practice tests here and there. Mostly concerned for this specifically for gen chem because I forgot a lot of the material and I'm gonna go through it again.

What do you recommend? I think I'll do math destroyer regularly along with maybe bio or orgo I gotta see.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Start now! It doesn't hurt to see the questions and answer key a bunch of times. Destroyer isn't just about answering the questions right (although its good to get them right).....the answer key is an extremely useful study tool to reinforce concepts and facts in bio, chem, and orgo.

What I personally did when I studied is review the material and then after the review I would answer all of the destroyer problems I thought I could get correct (based off the question). After I would thoroughly read the answer key, eventually you should be able to do all of them. I went over the questions in destroyer soooo many times and so many different ways and it was worth it.

As for math destroyer, I timed myself for some tests and for some tests I took my time. Again the answer key has a lot of great information like shortcuts.

Good luck!

You think it's good to do like 5-10 questions per subject/day since I'm studying while taking classes? And then more whenever I have more time?

1 month before your exam, until then use all the other sources. But that last month .... hit the destroyer hard.

I went through destroyer first, marked the problems I got wrong and wrote which topics were consistently wrong and which were right. Then went to chads videos etc to cover wrong topics then back to destroyer on those wrong problems. Wash rinse repeat. Then use bootcamp as an evaluation of where you are at.
Go back, use destroyer answers as notes if needed.

If you go through destroyer and you are consistently getting certain things right like HNMR/Ir in ochem or acids/bases and titrations in gem chem then you know it's not something you need to focus on right now.

Unless of course you remember nothing...go straight to Chad.

Absolutely. What I did is bring the book literally everywhere and do questions whenever I got the chance haha. Seemed silly then, but it surely paid off.

Destroyer asap. Think of it as both review and practice problems. Watching/reading lessons can only do so much, but practice problems are the key. Idc if you haven't even started watching chad's. Get started on that destroyer. It is the Bible.

when you think you finally have a decent grasp on the material.

then destroyer will break your spirit.

and you will learn from it.
