I'm stuck in a dilemma currently.

My stats are: GPA: 3.3 sGPA: 3.13 Mcat: 502 (126,123,125,128)

I know i have to redo my MCAT, but the problem is when?

I am thinking of writing it May 13th, my scores will arrive June 13th. Im still in school so studying wont be as strong.

Is that enough time, Can i push my Mcat even further?

P.s I am a canadian 😛

Hi,
I'm a Canadian as well. I did my MCAT in mid-June and applied in August, did my secondaries in September. But even that, I would say, limited my chances at some schools. For example, I'm waitlisted for an interview in two schools because all their interview spots are pretty much filled. I would say try to write your MCAT is May so that you're done everything including secondaries by August at the latest. If you feel that you really really need extra time to study, then do it in June like I did, but just be aware that it can limit your options in the future.
Good luck😉

As the DO cycle is longer, you can take it as late as Sept-Oct and still be fine.

Thanks Amy,

Seeing that i got 2 different opinions entirely, i wont risk it and aim for writing the Mcat in May.
Any idea what would be a good score taking to account my GPA?

I am Currently aiming for a 506

I think aim for a 510, just because your sGPA is really low and the MCAT is heavily science based which tells admissions that you are good at the sciences.
