Hello everybody, this is my first post so I hope im not asking a newbie question here...

I have decided to take the DAT and noticed some schools say submit application no later than Feb (ie. UCLA). Does this mean I can take the DAT in December and still have a chance at getting the score in by Feb??? I can study 6 hours everyday until then so I know I can be ready. I know I will be at the end of the application stack but can someone get in that late and have a good chance to get accepted for the Fall 2010???

If not, when is the best time? Of course assuming one is ready by the time. March vs April ???

I welcome any feedback and response.

Thanks

They all say the accept applications until january or feb, but the fact is most of the class is filled by then and the chances of acceptance is slim. The acceptance will only occur if you have stellar stats. I would say beyond Sept is pushing it. But if you do take it Dec, you have to make sure you kill the dat and you have a good GPA.

You'll need a high GPA and high DATs.

Just some examples:
2 of my friends had 3.7s in science GPA at UCLA with 21 and 22 DATs and got in after getting interviews around Jan.

Ya, like you heard. The longer you wait...the higher scores you will need.
