when is the best time to take DAT?

I saw from one of the dental school website that it should not be no more than 2 year before we apply. we are allowed to retake it after 90 days (3 months). let's say....2005~06 is my 2nd year in college, 06~07 is my 3rd, 07~08 is my 4th year and I start my dental school in 08~09.

I will finish all the science courses when I finish organic chemistry in my 3rd year. 3rd year will be over about July of 2007. I believe that November 1st is the deadline. so between July and November 1st....it's like 4~5 months. Even if I start taking DAT as soon as I finish my 3rd year, I can only take it up to 2 times, not 3 times.

so if there is anyone who took DAT more than once, how did u schedule to take DAT and send the scores to aadsas?

simple: take it when you feel you are ready. you will finds lots of posts here, "take it ASAP" "take it before this date, take it before that date". DAT is a F* hard exam, you do not want to go through it again. study your best, relax and when you feel you are ready, take it

Do you know how long it takes for me to get DAT taking Date if I register for the test?

You have to relax joon. The dat is a computerized exam and the assignment of the location and exam date takes less than 2 weeks. So take a breath and relax. Plus, I've read from your previous posts you have about one more year before you can even take the test since you hadn't taken orgo 1. So, I recommend you worry about it later. Although getting some extra information now doesnt hurt.

i have 2 years left before I take DAT...but 2 years won't be enough to get good grade on DAT.

When I was in high school, i massed up SAT, but DAT can decide my life, so I really need to care....sorry if i am overreacting.
