When is the earliest time to reschudule?

Hi everyone , does anyone know when is the earliest time to reschedule for USMLE if I cancel the exam in the morning of the exam, assuming there would be available spot in prometrics.

My wife sometimes has migraine headache and should cancel the exam before the exam if it starts

I had to do this last year

I remember it had to be a full 24 hours from your original test time to be able to reschedule but then you could schedule your new test time immediately.

So one day to wait to be able to reschedule

You can call them to confirm

surprisingly last year they were extremely helpful in rescheduling. of course for the $100+ fee

I thought you couldn't cancel it the morning of the exam? Thought you had to at least do it the previous night? And yeah you can reschedule it for < 1 week , or even 1 day after if they have open spots. I moved mine from last friday to this past wednesday (yesterday) without issue, except for the $120 fee.

I rescheduled morning of last year. Couldn't fall to sleep called them. They cancelled and told me to call in 24 hours to reschedule.
