When should I be calling schools?

Hi all,

Is now a good time to call school to see if they have received my
application?
Some schools told me that they will mail or email me once they receive it, but I still have not heard anything from some schools..
btw, my app was mailed out on 7/2.
Has anyone tried to call schools to check ?

It's a bit too early to call them now based on the mail out date you mentioned here, but it could never hurt doing so anytime you feel the urge to.

I didn't call schools at all. I think it's unnecessary. Most schools will appreciate you NOT calling them unless you absolutely have to. If you submitted your app, then just chill out. Schools will send you secondary info soon enough. Focus on that and don't call.
