So I'm planning to take the MCAT in late April since I plan to submit my AMCAS application in June. Would now be a good time to create an AAMC username or should I wait a little bit? Will I have the benefit of an early registration if I do it now?

Now for the LOR question: I only have one LOR (that's actually written) down from my general chemistry professor. I also have another science (Physics) and 'non-science' (Economics) letter on the way. When the time comes...how do I make sure these get to AMCAS? I've heard of this application called "Interfolio"...but I'm not too sure how that works. From what I understand, it let's you submit your LOR's to different medical schools without the need to constantly go back to your professor and ask him/her for another copy for each school. Is that about right? I really don't know.

Does your school have a pre-professional office or advising dept? If so check with them first because they may make a file for you and help manage your letters and committee letter. If not interfolio is a great alternative. The site pretty much explains it step by step, after you request a letter they will send an email to the professor where they can upload their letter though they still have a method for mailing in paper LoR though it takes longer.

You can make an AAMC login whenever you want. When I made mine the exam date that I wanted wasn't available yet cause it was too far away.

If you create an account now, don't spend a lot of time entering activities and coursework, as the data won't repopulate to next year's application form unless it's formally submitted. But you can play with it to see what you'll need to know, like contact information, etc.
