My orientation starts July 24, but I'd like some ample time to relax and enjoy life before that.

You should work though med school... you see, my uncle's step brother's son had a friend that said his girlfriend's brother was able to do that. But I told him I was still a pre-med and that my girlfriend had it all wrong... I'm working though pre-med... not med school. lol Dude just give notice and leave when you can. Honestly there is not GOLDEN time.

I'd say leave about 3-4 weeks before orientation, that gives a little time to save some cash to live off of for that month
