I am a sophomore (international student) aiming to go to med school and I am quite unsure when to take my MCAT exam and the number of med schools I can apply for?

1) After completing the prerequisites, spending 2-3 months of dedicated study/taking a formal prep course and ideally with enough time to retake if your score is too low. Consider sometime between September through May of Junior year if you plan to apply the summer before Senior year.

2) There is no restriction, but all schools don't consider international applicants.
