I know Pearson says within 6 weeks you should get your scores. But I was wondering if they ever come in early lol. I remember some people saying they actually took longer than 6 weeks.
It's about 3 weeks left until we should be getting scores from the june pcat.
Just walking half way to my mailbox will make you sweat, I don't want to waste a trip checking the mail! Texas ftw.

And what's this about getting your scores early by paying some fee or something? I heard someone talk about it but haven't seen it on pearson's site or anything.

I thought I remember people saying it was more like 5 weeks. Another question: Do the scores show up online in your profile before you get them in the mail?

I took my exam on January 24th. My scores came in the mail on March 2nd. On March 1st, somebody on the forums noticed that you could get your scores online from Pearsons if you paid $20. Most people didn't read that post until the next day. Some people paid the $20 in the morning and their scores arrived in the mail the same day. It isn't worth it if you can hold out for a few hours unless you live in Canada. I think it takes longer for Canadians to get the mail.

People said that the scores showed up on PharmCAS a few days before they came in the mail. That should be enough info to figure out about when your scores should arrive if this test is similar to the January exam.

Normally, I found it takes up around 5 weeks to receive your score. I took twice and received it after 5 weeks of waiting.

5 weeks it is then. That makes me a little happier.

$20, what a rip off that is. I could understand if you could get your scores a few weeks early, but a few days early for $20 is ridiculous.

It feels like an eternity, how has it only been 3 weeks?! What is the website where you can pay to have them early - I am seriously biting my nails, even a day or so without this hanging over my head is worth the money!! =(

Agreed!! It's going to take every bit of willpower I have to not pay to see my score early, though.

At least try to wait until your mail comes on the day they make this available. Lots of people got their scores in the mail the exact same day so if they paid, they paid for the privilege of seeing their scores a few hours early at most. Such a scam.

What are u guys talking about ?
the results are already in, I pay 500 $, I received mine at 12 am this morning, I got 99% , no school will ever reject me.............I wish
Just keep on waiting and the doors of heaven will be open to you.

Paying to receive a score...greedy...I'll withhold my colorful language. 😡

Yeah lol, that score report file can't be more than 5 megabytes.
You pay $20 for them to transfer you a 5 megabyte file!

That thing better come through on a PURE GOLD cable to my computer.
Seriously, Pearson is just unbelievably greedy on this crap.
Hell, I work for CVS and thought they were greedy. But damn, we got nothing on Pearson!

The 3rd week isn't even over lol... I hate thinking about this crap hah.

See I think they are leaving money on the table. If people are willing to pay $20 to get their scores a few hours early, I bet they are willing to pay much more for rushed scoring. If you can get your scores within three weeks instead of six, there is a real advantage for rolling admission schools. I bet people would pay at least $50 for that and maybe more.

...or they could just take away the writing section (since we write enough essays in our apps) and make it electronic - instant scores. But no, that would make too much sense.

Yeah, I know I would...

Anyone else feel like it has been almost 4 months instead of weeks? Lol

Yes! Since June 20th, I've completed summer school, visited Pittsburgh and Chicago, job hunted, went to some interviews, got hired, and found a new pharmacy to volunteer at for the summer. Seems like I did these things ages ago; yet, it has only been 3 weeks, 4 days and some hours since the June pcat.

titcr

Also, pharmacy schools could require us to compose a quick essay on interview day if they want to be sure that we don't write like *******es.
