If a school sends them out automatically without regard to whether you fulfill their predetermined criteria, you'd likely get them when others do. But if the school screens your application first, then the invitations will tend to be spread out. The first applications to arrive are not necessarily screened in order. And the initial release volume is fairly large, so it takes a while to sort them out.
