Hey guys!
Alright so please don't laugh at me. I've never applied for a loan before and I frankly have no idea what I'm suppose to do. I was accepted into dental school and school starts sometime in mid-July. When should I apply for the loans I'm going to need to pay for dental school? And do I do that through FASFA?

Thanks!

Yes, it's FAFSA. It's almost the same thing that you did with college FAFSA except you check a few different boxes and you're classified as an independent no matter what.

You're not competing for any grants or extra loan money so the deadline might not be that important but just do it as early as possible so your money is processed and deposited into your bank account as early as possible when you start school.

I talked to Dr. Cheramie and he said not to worry about it. They will send us packets in the next couple of months that will explain everything. No rush!

Shoot! Some schools do give limited financial aid (free money) so get your FAFSA completed asap.
