Hi! I have a question why is it important to apply early. Is applying August good or is it early for someone who has an overall 3.85 Gpa(haven't taken the dat yet)? Thanks everyone

The entire process takes months. It's better to have your application on the top of the pile than under 3,000. The earlier you apply, the better your chances are of scoring an interview.

Apply early so they can do the verification of your grades, that takes 4-6 weeks, then theyll send it immediately when your scores are received. Doing this would be EXTREMELY beneficial.

All dental schools are rolling admission. The sooner you submit = the sooner they see your application. If you apply in August there is a good chance that they sent out their first interview invites and still have a lot more applications to review.

Try to hit the submit button on June 1st or 2nd or whenever it is AADSAS opens up. Even if you haven't taken your DAT score yet, still apply that early because as people mentioned before, LOR's grades etc take a long time to update. You DAT score will upload like two-ish weeks after taking it, and from there schools will have everything and start to review you. Ideally, you'd already have your DAT done by June but if you don't that doesn't mean you shouldn't still apply early.

If I have already taken the DAT, will my scores be automatically imported to my AADSAS application once I start it in June, or do I have to manually transfer my scores to AADSAS?
