When have you guys taken the OAT's and applied to optometry schools? When is usually most of their deadlines to apply? And when can you expect interviews/acceptance?
Took oat on April. Submitted OptomCas on early August. got few interview on late August. accepted few this week. Deadlines are usually until nxt yr May.
I took my OAT in early August and submitted mid September! If you go on OptomCAS, each school has their deadlines posted for whatever program youre looking into. I think the earliest deadline is in December for Berkeley (but they're not rolling admissions), so you have some time. The other schools have deadlines that are as late as june of next year. As soon as your app is verified by optomCAS, a lot of the schools usually contact you within a week-month.
