I am taking the MCAT on thursday and am not supposed to get my scores back to mid-July. My application is nearly complete (just a few edits to the essay and activity descriptions) and my transcripts have been received by AMCAS. I was wondering if I should make an effort to finish up my application in the next week or two and submit to at least one school before I get my MCAT scores back?

Basically, I guess the question comes down to, is submitting the application right when I get my scores back (say July 20th) too late? Does it put me at a disadvantage?

July 20th isn't really late, it wouldn't put u at any significant disadvantage. However, I think some people would say it may put you slightly behind at schools receiving a ton of applications. Whether or not you apply is up to you... and it should be based on how confident you feel about your MCAT. If you think your worst case scenario MCAT is 42, then apply now. If you think it is a 16, you better wait and see what your score is.
