When to apply?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to decide if I should apply in the next couple of days or wait ~2 weeks until I take my DAT (June 30th) to see how well I do.

My gpa is about a 3.4 overall and 3.3bcp. The logic behind wanting to wait is that if I do pretty well, I could apply to a couple less schools and save some money.

Will the two weeks make enough difference that I should just eat the cost and go ahead and apply now?

How many schools would you apply to before/after taking DATs?

Right now I have 12:

Tufts, Boston, NYU, Maryland, VCU, Midwestern, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Crieghton, USC, Case Western, and ASDOH

I'm not exactly sure how many less I would apply to if I do pretty well, but I definitely a couple.
