If your grades are posted, GRE complete, minimum observation hours complete, statement of purpose started/completed and LoR writers at the ready, you should begin filling out the application at the least. Inputting your grades alone is a pretty redundant process. Note that you don't have to have everything done to start the application process. It's longer than most people anticipate.
Each school has their own deadline, so just keep an eye on that. Supposedly, applying as early ad possible is the best, so as soon as you're ready, do it! Don't be like me and apply in October, three days before your school's deadline. Lol. Good luck!
Start the process....................save your app........................submit ASAP. AZIMUTHAL said it best. the LORS and transcripts come in and get reviewed it takes awhile but don't let it hold up your part of the process.
I started my app the day the application cycle opened and literally didn't submit for the first time until August 15th (so it took me about a month to get everything I needed) and that still wasn't all my LOR and final grades for summer two... I sent out my app a total of 3 times, the last one being in September... that's a long time for starting an app in July. It's important to at least your name in the game, schools may contact you and say "Hey we need another LOR it wasn't in your packet" - Pitt did that for me and I just wrote them back and said that the last PT had just sent the info to PTCAS and if they wanted an additional copy I could try to contact the PT and get another (they said it was fine and waited for the PTCAS update of my app)
I am confused...Can we e-submit the application more than once? I have been sepaking with my references for a few weeks and told them that I will be using them so as soon as I requested them as one they all answered within 2 day. Does this look bad? The only thing I have left to do is type the essay and request GRE score since it did not post yet on ETS. Will PTCAS let you know if you missed a step or part of the application?
Once my essay is complete I plan on e-submitting b/c PTCAS said to submit even if transcripts, gre score, and references aren't in yet. is this o.k.?
