Early is a good time to apply.
They start accepting in June and secondary deadlines are around March (I think, not positive; I applied early) for the most part. Primary deadline is generally prior to the new year.
The class would be put on as IP if you apply in June. Obviously you could update with a grade after you get it. But if you are just retaking 1 C it probably won't have a huge impact on your application.

You want to apply THIS year? Generally folks complete their AACOMAS app in June. By this time, many schools have already filled their interview days - but there are schools that have openings for interviews, and dates have a habit of opening up as people get accepted to their first choices and cancel interviews.
I would get started ASAP if you want to apply this year. You are already going to have an issue with some schools like MSUCOM as their AACOMAS deadline is 12/1.
I will be frank - at this late date your chances of acceptance are not good. Not impossible, but certainly much much lower than if you had started early.

This year as in you want to be in med school in fall 2013, correct?
If you are thinking "this year" as in filling out aacomas in June 2013, that is next years cycle.

HI all I have a similar question. I am new to this and i will begin studying for the MCAT this week.
If i want to matriculate in Sept of 2014 what is the best time to take the mcat? and the earliest i can apply for that term?
