When to buy ADEA guide?

As someone applying in June 2013 for Fall 2014, should I wait until next year to buy the ADEA guide? I'm doing preliminary research now (for prereqs) but I'm unsure if I need to buy the guide twice, or if it's safe to wait until February. This is probably a dumb question but I'm a year out from starting the application and I like to plan as well as one can manage.

Wait and buy the newest version.

Prerequisites stay the same for the most part. But if this is the only information you need, they are listed on every school's websites.
