I know that you can call 48 hrs before the test to schedule a DAT test. I'm just wondering if that's enough time to get a seat?

Or do the spots fill up long before that and you have to call weeks before in order to get it?

I don't think that 48 hours before you want to take your test is enough time..I signed up for my test using the prometric center website after i paid for the test..(before my confirmation came in the mail)....your eligibility id is your social and then you enter the first 4 letters of your last name...you can sign up online and see the different time slots that are available....it fills up quickly especially in july... i would look at time slots that are available and sign up in advance...remember, it $10 to reschedule...

go to ada.org...then under dat, click on the prometric center link and you'll see what i'm talking about

Yah Sign up in advanced and do not wait until your in range of 48 hours, simply schedual a date that you think you will be ready for so that you have a seat, if it comes to the worst that you cannot take it then simply reschedule (its $10 bucks and you need to do it at least 2 days before your test)
