I am old (not really, just turned 28) and my non-academic references would be from supervisors at work. The trick is, I'm quitting my main job I've been working at for 4 years to focus on pre-reqs so I won't necessarily be as close with these folks in a year or two when I actually need the letter from them. I've already told them of my plans for med school in the coming years and I have the blessing of all my bosses straight up to the CEO.
The letter would be from the VP of Instruction for a web dev bootcamp startup. I have an amazing reputation and regularly get shoutouts from both staff and students, so this letter would be a slam dunk.
If I'm not planning to apply til 2023ish, would it make sense to just get my Interfolio together now and have them future date it?
