If I take my MCAT on July 6 and my AMCAS application is completely approved, minues the MCAT score, how long will the average secondaries take to arrive? I understand that some schools do not actively screen, but for those that do, how long after they receive my MCAT (which will likely be in mid August) should i realistically expect before I receive secondaries?

Some schools send them automatically in July without screening - others screen (so you wouldn't get those yet). Some come in August. If you apply late I imagine some come in September...

It really is a school-by-school issue.

Is taking the July 6th MCAT late, even if the AMCAS application is completed and submitted earlier?

I understand the university will not look at my application until the MCAT results come in, but I was under the impression that although July 6th wasn't that early, it also wasn't that late.
