When to Expect to Hear Back

Hi! Just submitted my apps on June 18th, official dat updated, but waiting on transcript verification and LOR to finally come in. When do schools start contacting people back typically and when can I expect to hear back?

My earliest interview invite last cycle was the day after my last LOR uploaded on June 30. That school contacted me a week earlier saying my app is on hold pending the missing LOR.
Some schools email you within a day or two after submitting to tell you they received the app. Some you never hear from until they reject you in March or May..

That's rude....all the work that goes in they can at least have a standardized email that lets you know "they you're out of the run" and I'd be happy

Yes, people complain about that every year.

Hopefully they'll get better since everything seems to be more and more standardized...oh the days when all secondaries will be incorporated in AADSAS....and Texas schools won't have a secondary and a primary on top of AADSAS for OOS. And how about the fees are included in the AADSAS and you don't have to worry about mailing or paying online....maybe 10 years from now (that secondary fee will probably never go away actually lol)

I've yet to hear any correspondence at all from Case Western about my application and I'm about to start dental school in a month.

Some schools you legitimately just won't hear back from, other you can hear from as early as end of June/beginning of July

lol I didn't interview with them so I've 100% been rejected, but they haven't bothered to say anything.

I know Maryland is infamous for that too if you don't interview with them.

It varies a lot by school. Also, I wouldn't expect anything (besides emails that your application is incomplete) until a few weeks after the transcript verification and LOR's go through.
