I'm incredibly grateful for my acceptance to the program and the scholarship. However, I believe the other school is a better mission fit given my professional interests, closer to my support system, and the state politics is considerably more tolerant, a factor I deem important given that I am LGBTQ+. The cost of attendance is an important consideration, but I also have to consider my happiness and wellbeing.
Do your calculations for the difference in COA that will be shared with your financial aid office to whom you are requesting help (as the video suggests). Make sure your other questions about student support with your school with full tuition are answered. Check for other opportunities that could be partly funded (for now) at the mission fit school that could later impact the COA.

Hi, I wanted to ask if you still recommend doing this between a lower tier full coa scholarship(this school has the higher coa between the two) and a higher tier full tuition one that I would like to negotiate a stipend from?
