I plan on taking Orgo 2 and the lab in Spring 2016. Those will be the only two classes I'll
take so I'll have a lot of time to study. Should I wait until the semester is over in May to take the DAT, or should I schedule mid semester? Thanks

You can always start your studying early if you have the time! I wouldn't register for the DAT when you have multiple other courses going - you want to be able to devote yourself. I'd personally register for the DAT after I'd finish the courses

Thanks. Yeah I plan on studying during the break after this semester. What if I just took the Orgo 2 lecture and not the lab? Would you advise maybe taking the DAT during the semester? The labs seem to take a lot of time so I was thinking of maybe just taking the lecture, and doing the lab after I apply...

I agree with rapidly above. Schedule it after maybe a couple weeks into your hard core studying routine. I took about 2.5 months to study and registered after 1.5. Even then I had to sign up for a test day that was 2 weeks past my target date.

Thanks. Were you taking the classes during the time you were studying, or during the time when you took the test?

No I graduated awhile back but I did have to take some time off work for about 2.5 months. I know some people can pull it off while going to class or working, but I think it's best if you treat it like a full time job. These 3 months will help make or break your career goal! Why not put in 100% focus if able.

I;m studying for the DAT right now, while in school and working parttime. If you believe, you can do it!

Thank you for the encouragement. Do you mind if I ask how many hours you are taking in school currently?
