When to submit for 2010 Cycle

I've read every thread on this forum about the best time to submit your application: EARLIER the better, I understand that.

But, here's my question: My school does not send out recommendations/committee letter till end of July, so does that mean my application will not be forwarded to schools by AADSAS till after the recs arrive?

If so, is it ok if I submit at the end of July, so I have more time to work on my statement/can submit more grades that way? Or should I still submit ASAP?

No, that is not true. Not having your Letters of Rec will not keep your application from being processed at AADSAS. Not having all of your transcripts will though. I suggest you submit appplication as early as freakin possible. Send the LOR's in July to all of the schools you applied to and you will be on the early train of interviews. Or you can wait until the end of July and hopefully, get an interview Pre-December 1st. Don't waste your time trying to write the most amazing Personal Statement the return on your investment will not out weigh the value of an early interview.

What's the difference between june and july?? It's still considered early. I submitted my app in July without my LORs and DAT scores. The LORs were submitted in late July-early August and my DAT in early September. With all that, i was able to land an early interview. Its all up to u--don't worry so much.
I suggest u submit ur app in June tho, the LORs wll get there. Don't worry 🙂

the 2010 application is available may 15. I'd suggest signing up for a 2009 account just to see what the application will look like so you can work on your application until may. June 1 is the earliest you can e-submit your application, but AADSAS receives transcripts earlier than that. I would send in your transcripts before June 1 so by then you will have your AADSAS GPA calculated. The previous posts are correct in that you can get your application sent out to the schools without your LORs, but it will not be forwarded to adcoms until your application is complete (LOR, transcripts, DAT scores, etc.)
