Just a quick question...
while waiting to be verified by AACOMAS, I wanted to get the LOR situation settled.... when is it appropriate for me to send my LORs? is it okay for my evaluators to send the letters to the schools right after I was verified (ie before even receiving/completing my secondaries)?? any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I had mine submit to Interfolio so that I could control when they got submitted. It worked great for me. www.interfolio.com

Thanks for your reply! Just out of curiosity do all D.O. schools accept interfolio?

I think pretty much all of them do. I'm not 100% sure on that though. You could always browse through the CIB, it has that information! 🙂

Sorry to hijack thread, but I have one question that has been nagging me all day:

Do you need to get a letter from a science faculty member if you have already have a committee letter (made from 3 science and 1 non-science faculty members)?

No, you don't need to get another one.

Can you submit your application before receiving your LORs?

You can submit your AACOMAS application before having LORs. The faster you have your LORs squared away, the quicker you can turn around the secondaries and become complete, though. This year it would behoove you to submit your primary as fast as possible, and then get everything else settled during the verification process.

I agree with those above that Interfolio has worked great. I would suggest going with that, I haven't had any problems and as they pointed out you retain complete control of when the schools receive all the letters.
