When to take DAT?

Do you have to take the DAT during the application cycle?
And if you take it before the application cycle, do you already have to know what school's you'll be applying to so it can send the scores to them?

The cycle opens in June. Usually people have taken their DAT already or plan to take it anytime from June-September of that cycle. You must specify which dental schools you want your scores sent to, but you can add more later. I don't believe it cost any more to SEND your scores to 1 school vs all the schools, but it does cost more to APPLY to more schools.

If you take it before the cycle opens.....I believe so, but I'm not 100% sure.
