when to take kaplan online version

i wanna take the DAT in july this year, so when is the best time to take the online course? is it better to take the class way in advance (like right now) or just before taking the test (like in early summer). also is the online version better than the classroom version, since i'm afraid that i would miss out on stuff if i dont take the classroom version. we would get the exact same study materials as the classroom version, right?

I just signed up for it and am taking it right now.
