Hey guys, so I just finished my sophomore year and plan on taking physics (and labs) this summer. After that, I've completed all the classes that are covered on the MCAT.
Question is, when should I take a prep course? I'm aware that ideal MCAT test dates hover around April to maybe even early June. This would mean taking a prep course during winter break or the following spring semester.
While I'm decent at time management, I do not foresee myself fully devoting the required attention into studying the MCAT during school. Is the winter course a viable option or is it too compacted that you end up forgetting some of the material once school resumes?
I could enroll in a prep course next summer (2012) and take the August MCAT but this is getting to be late if I want to be a 2013 matriculate. I could either take my chances and apply anyway or wait the following spring to apply as a 2014 hopeful. My projected graduation date is spring 2013 however, so I'm not sure what I would do in my idle time if I choose the latter route.
Sorry for the long question!! These options have been rolling in my head for a while and I'm just trying to figure out the best one. Thanks again for any and all help!
