when to take the DAT

I have a dilemma. I have a heavy course load this fall. Im taking org 2 in the fall. Should i study hard this summer for the DAT and take it at the end of the summer while the info is fresh and i actually have quality time to study for the DAT..... or study hard this summer, get some org 2 and take it in like November? downside being a couple months later from studying... will be hard for me to work in studying for DAT classes and working.
