When will they stop with interview calls

The earliest dates avalible seem to be late jan and feb now- if they interview until march, they should stop sending invites by early fed, right?
So, its quite late in the process then! 😎

And you're excited about it being late in the process now? Wow. For those of us who waited _forever_ to be AMCAS certified and are therefore only hearing about interviews now, it's a little stressful. 🙁

No Im not excited! Frustrated yes! I havent heard from the schools I want to go to either.

Whoa! You guys are talking about normal years!! This is anything but! Calm down! Interviews will almost definitely go much later than usual.

I definitely think this year will be an exception. I would start really freaking out til mid-Feb.

But that said, its hard to do!

I looked up the AAMC website, and wright state has a Jan 31 deadline for notification......shows you how behind so many schools are.

just to add, my advisor said rush didn't start interviewing til november and I'm sure other schools are in the same boat 1-2 months behind...

To hopefully calm some nerves. I applied to the 8 CA schools. I just heard from the 5th one about an interview (yes or no). That means there are still 3 schools in CA that have not finished going over my app. I spoke with Stanford and they said that my app still had not gone for review and it could take 4 to 6 weeks from last Thursday for me to hear one way or another.

This is abnormal and I doubt the schools are going to have offered enough acceptances by March 15th to fill their entering class. I think that might be pushed back a little as well. (that is just my uninformed guess 🙂 )
