When will you hear back?

I was wondering if it is ok to ask at your interviews when you will hear if you have been accepted or not? I know that december 1st is the big day but what about interviews after that date?

I wouldnt ask since either they dont know or they probably wont tell you anyway. At the next committee meeting you will either get accepted, rejected, or put on hold and they will compare you with applicants that interview after that. I would just thank them for the opportunity to interview there and then start in the waiting game. It sucks but everyone has to do it.

I have multiple students who have recieved acceptances during the interview, every school is different, I would ask them if I had an interview after Dec 1

Does anybody have any thoughts on our chances of being accepted going "down" if we interview after Dec 1st. Is it rude to ask the school about this when scheduling interviews? Also, what if we get accepted to our dream school on Dec 1st- can I just cancel the interviews afterwards? Thanks-
