I think i am going to list the docs names.... are you doing the same ?

how are you categorizing shadowing ?

Since shadowing doesn't fit into any of the categories, I classified it as "other."

I'm putting all shadowing as one EC, categorizing it as "Other." Within the description I'm listing the doctors' names, the dates I shadowed them, how many hours total, and a general description of what I did/saw (observed OB triage, etc.).

Had I done any shadowing, I would list their name. If I had shadowed multiple physicians, I'd list just one name.

The way a friend did it, she put all her different shadowing under one heading. She didn't give each individual doctor for contact info but she just described what kind of doctors she shadowed and some basic description about what she saw for a bit.

She only used one contact name for it all. She also listed it as other I believe. Shadowing isn't volunteering so you can't put it in that and the only medical categories they have are mostly for volunteering so a lot of people say other.

so would it be bad to "name-drop" and mention that I shadowed the chief surgeon at a hospital? Im also trying to shadow an OB/GYN, so Im thinking about listing the shadowing information under other as follows. Since Id only be shadowing 2 doctors, do you think itd be alright to list them separately?

-Shadowed Dr. X, MD OB/GYN, for x amount of hours where I saw this and that.
-Shadowed Dr. X, MD Chief Surgeon, for x amount of hours where I saw...
