I think some of them lie underneath muscle tissues.

Do they also wrap around liver?
Where else are they located in our body?

Thanks in advance.

adipose tissue = fat. when you try to get a 6 pack or get ripped, you try to lose fat from adipose tissue which is on top of muscle. hence, when you lose fat you become more defined. fat is, pretty much everywhere in your body right under the skin.

Yup, that is subcutaneous fat. Then there's visceral fat that lies deeper and hangs out all around your internal organs, that's the stuff you really want to minimize, tends to be correlated with other bad news. I think that might be more than you need to know for the MCAT, but point being, it's all throughout the body.
