Hi there, I'm just a premed right now and i like to research about people in the medical field and in medical school to gauge how my experience might be. And to be quite honest, i've mostly seen negativity. People in med school on youtube cosntantly say "the information is ridiculous, there's too much in too little time, it's not worth it etc. Doctors near where i live are (with good reason) frustrated with the government cutting funding for them. So i guess my question is, if you could go back, would you do it again? Are you happy with how your life is as a med student/doctor? Is it still worth it in the end?

Thanks

Just finished M2. So far I would say it's worth it for me.

Most the docs I've been around in med school seem relatively happy. If you ask them to critique the system of course they can, but so could just about every invested professional in their respective fields, but that doesn't make them unhappy.

'worth' and 'happiness' are subjective and frankly heavily dependent on one's outlook on their life's situation. In my case, I still think this path is worth it - but I still have about a decade before I'm done with all my training so I'll see.
