Hey, folks!

I may have totally misinterpreted things, but it just seems like most SDNers are either from the east coast or California.

I'm just wondering--where do you reside?

Studied in Canada, but American citizen. Used to be California resident!

Good thread Glimmer. I reside in Arkansas, but not really from here. Originally from France, high school in Illinois, College at USC(Trojans), transferred to Arkansas for cheaper tuition. Here I am.

I agree, most on here are from the coasts. I have only found a hand full of people from Iowa

Some of us midwest kids come on this forum too. South Dakota! Also recently voted best state for business and lifestyle by CNBC!

I live in the middle of nowhere, Panama. (Peace Corps)
Born and raised/ undergrad in Missouri.
Grad school in California.
I think I'm still a Missouri resident...

It's a good thing in the back of my mind- I just hope I get in to one of them. Are you an Arkansas resident now (going off what I read here)? If so, I think some southern states reserve a set number of spots since y'all don't have a dental school there...Correct me if I'm wrong- I'm I the early stages of this dental trek!

yea that's true. Tennessee, LSU, Louisville, UMKC have many spots for Arkansas students. Baylor also has maybe 4 spots for Arkansas students. All are instate tuition too. So hopefully, I can get into Baylor. haha.

Where are you from OP.

Not sharing, your mean.

BUMP! I've actually found this pretty useful when doing "interview recon" and trying to figure out where people are from who got invites. 😉 Vote, por favor!

Air Force kid so nowhere in particular, but I am currently a TX resident because my wife is in graduate school here 🙂. I lived in Okinawa, Japan for 4 years though 🙂. Close to the longest I have ever been in any one place.
