Where can I find DO physicians to shadow?

I've found physicians to shadow in the past,but I'm having a hard time finding a DO. How do I do this? Is there a listing somewhere?

Some people might recommend the AOA's mentoring program to find a DO in your area to shadow (which is a great program) however I would suggest just looking in the phonebook. Just looking through the one I have in my kitchen I have a total of four physicians who are DO's within the two pages that I have looked. I would suggest just cold calling some of the ones that are listed in the phonebook and explain that you are a pre-med and interested in shadowing. You might get a whole bunch of rejections, but all it takes is one person to say yes for you to get a letter of recommendation.
