Where can you see how AADSAS calculated GPA? What GPA do schools view?

Others have talked about this but I tried searching and couldn't find the answer, just ppl talking about issues with it so hopefully this will helps others too!

I think AADSAS messed up my science gpa. Is there any way I can see what courses they did cound in the bio gpa? I know sometimes we list things under it and they don't count it and just wanted to see what they did count.

I say this because courses like food microbiology were offered under the bio and FST (food science and tech) depts at my school and I don't know if AADSAS counted it in my bio gpa which is lower than I anticipated so want to clear it up!

ALSO WHICH GPA DO SCHOOLS LOOK AT? your main and sci? main and bio? with w/o or without w/o?

just go look at your "coursework" under your application and see if any of the designations were changed from what you put (i.e. BCP--->other science). i haven't heard much error on AADSAS's part in terms of numerical miscalculations. There have been disagreements between applicants and AADSAS on designations of courses however.

but everyone experiences a drop in their AADSAS gpa compared to their undergraduate GPA. keep in mind that a B+ is only a 3.33 AADSAS and not a 3.5 like it is at some schools. B's are 3.0 and B- is lower than a 3.0....something like a 2.75 or whatever.
