I got a 3.2gpa, bs degree in pharmacological chem @ UCSD, 2 yrs of ER volunteering (5 months in a pharmacy), team captain of seasonal bball team, 4+ years as research lab asst, AED club member, but I had to replace two D's for non prereq classes that I got as a junior. I got no interviews as of now. I applied to UCSD, USC, and Western. As for letters of recs, i got two from my supervisors and one from my prof, in which they all liked me. I am poor in english, so im guessing that i got shot down with my personal statement and supp materials. I would appreciate some comments and advice...thanks

yeah, the essays are worth a lot. have all the nice jazz like yourself and do a crappy job (or not excellent) on your essays (i haven't seen them myself but that's the most logical explanation for why you didn't score any interviews) and you're out of the running. =/

In May, you should call each school and ask why you were not given an interview. This is the only true way to find out.
