I studies in my school's library. it distracts sometimes, but it helped me to ignore distractions when i was taking a real DAT next to a student who was typing like crazy.
As you can see, people are different. Some are distracted at home, others are distracted when they're not at home.
Personally, I can't work at home at all. I guess I feel too comfortable and don't get down to business. I like the coffee shop because for some reason I feel like people might be watching and I would be slacking off if I don't work. I know it's crazy... no body cares what I am doing there! It works though.
At home, all day, nearly every day. It helped that the house was empty except for me most daylight hours.
Mostly at home. Can't study on my bed or on the couch, otherwise I get sleepy and fall asleep. I did most of my studying at my breakfast table at home, so if I got hungry or thirsty.. the fridge was just a walk away. Plus studying next to the windows helps keep me awake b/c of the sunlight = )
nearby coffee shop or university library during the day, reviewed stuff at home at night. Spent few hours before going to bed writing orgo rxns on bathroom mirror w/ dry-erase pen, did practice exams at public library (to simulate Prometric environ).
