Where do Dental Residents and Dentists look for jobs ?

Im a dentist in the New York/ Long Island area.

Had ads out on Craig's List and other sites for an associate position with minimal responses.

Just curious where Dentist/ Dental Residents search for employment.

Same place everyone else does - job listings.

You need to find them, they're usually not going to come to you.

Recruiters, Lunch and learns, word of mouth, dental conference (or specialty conference) job fairs.

As far as Job Listings go, are there any sites that are more popular among the "dental associate job seeking community" ?

The ADA website has a "career center" with job postings (so does Dentaltown)

1. Dental town classifieds
2. Ets dental postings
3. State dental association postings. E.g. "California dental association, Chicago dental society catalog", etc
4. Link up with dental recruiters based on the part of the country you're in.

Last time I looked for a job was 20 years ago.
Obviously things have changed.
With so many options available, these days, I just figured I'd reach out to find out where the current hot spots are.
