Hi, 2nd year med student here, going into 3rd... I am pretty set on going into neurology and wanted to get a gauge of what kind of applicant I am. Obviously, not having my third year grades and letters, I realize that a fair proportion of what will make me competitive/non-competitive has yet to be determined. However, as a 50th percentile US MD student with a 235-240 on Step 1, what kind of shot would I have at a program like UMich?

Thanks in advance...

Probably a very good one. As you said though, you still have third year to go...

Do well on 3rd year, and Ann Arbor is definitely attainable.
