I've currently completed the following courses in reference to DAT:

bio 1
chem 1 and 2
orgo 1
genetics
microbio

due to my major, i dont actually have to take bio2. did most of you guys find bio2 is where the random questions come from? I picked up the Kaplan DAT Review book yesterday and everything related to chemistry or anything tought in the above courses is pretty simple but theres alot of really random stuff related to ecology, animal behavior, excretion, digestion, muscles and locomotion, etc.

is this random stuff from bio2? in which ill take it, or is it just random info? I like to thoroughly learn things instead of just "reviewing" the basics for tests so if theres specific courses that people would recommend (preferably people who have already taken the DAT). Im currently registered to take anatomy and orgo2 in the fall so ive got those out of the way. ill be taking physiology in the spring but im thinking about dropping another class this fall to replace it with bio2 if people think it will help. any other class recommendations are greatly appreciated as well.

Take bio 2...it probably teaches ecology, evolution, and plants which is on the test. Something that covers organ systems is also good. these are all classes that I wish I had...I am in a similar situation as you for Bio and I am suffering as a result of it.
