A bit about myself: shortly after graduating from dental school (a couple years ago) I started purchasing dental supplies, and was shocked by how much the large vendors were charging for their supplies. Everything from Caviwipes to burs to gloves cost way more than they should. I quickly realized that smaller vendors often sell identical items, manufactured by the same companies (for a fraction of the price).

To help address this problem I’ve been working on building Supply Clinic, an online marketplace for dental supplies. On Supply Clinic dentists can find the cheapest prices for all of their preferred dental supplies, and purchase from multiple discount vendors in one cart. We are on the verge of leaving our closed beta, and I couldn’t be more excited.

I would love feedback from any and all dentists interested in this endeavor. I've been building out the site with the consumer in mind, so your input is welcome. The site is up in its raw beta form, and is called https://www.supplyclinic.com/.

Cheers,
Scott

I have also already gone through this situation. I purchased one cavex bleach tray spacer from vendor and it costed me 35,72 € that is what was it's actual price the same they charged from me. One of my friend told me that if I search online the same requirement will cost me much less than the actual price. I was searching online and came through http://online-dental.net/en/1450-equipment and the same equipment cost mention over there was 29,72 €. See the difference ! From then I believe online purchasing of dental equipments.

I order most of my supplies from Net32.com, most of my disposables from Crazy Dental Prices and impression material from Safco.

Hi guys,

I am an investigator in the Maryland/DC area investigating increasingly high prices charged by major dental supply companies. If anybody has been victimized by paying such high prices, please contact me at 917/301-0430 and visit my site at www.djcinvestigativegroup.com.
