So, the question of demand and the generation of demand by self marketing in PM&R still intrigues me. The elective rotation at my institution only provides exposure to inpatient rehab, so I don't have a great understanding of private practice in the field. So, for attendings with private practices, what percentage of your patient base comes from referrals by FPs? What percentage by other specialties? What percentage are just walk-ins due to direct advertising of the clinic? Thanks in advance.
