I know that Saliva in the mouth can produce Lingual Lipase which is used to digest fat but some sources don't mention it all. For the MCAT, should I assume that Fat Digestion begins in the mouth or in the Small Intestines once it combines with Bile Salts and Pancreatic Enzymes?

For the MCAT, unless lingual lipase is in the passage or question stem don't consider it, always think pancreatic lipase even though question may just say lipase. Also, fat meets bile and pancreatic enzymes in the small intestine, not the stomach.

Oh right, haha. Way ahead of myself. But yeah, I'm hoping atleast (if they were to ask this) they'd structure the question like "Where does the majority of fat digestion take place in the GI track?" Anyways, thanks for the feedback!

I believe the stomach does secrete some ineffective lipases that does digest smaller fats w/ less than 12 carbons.
