Self employment is paid employment.

Paid teaching can go under either Teaching or Paid since it can count for both. What you might actually want to do is look at what you have so far regarding activities and label the paid teaching gig whatever you need the most of, ie if you don't have any teaching otherwise and have paid employment, put it as teaching.

I don't understand questions like this. AMCAS gives you the freedom to put your experiences in any format that you want. So why don't you use that power to make yourself as attractive as possible? If you are trying to present yourself as a leader and teacher of others, then it is teaching. If you are trying to show yourself as a responsible working adult, then it is work experience.
